Hi from Oregon. My sister is a LAQ and "lurks" on the site. LOL Haven't convinced her to become member yet. She belongs to a long arm quilt guild and says it is the best thing she's done since divorcing her husband.
Seriously, there are LAG guilds, that might be something for you to try. My sister's guild is a 2 1/2 hour drive but worth it.
