Barefoot-except now when its cold, then with a pair of fleece socks on. At retreats I always use a pair of fleece socks too. I just cannot feel the foot control as well when I have shoes on. Get a lot of guff from others, but there is one other that always sews barefoot.
I'm barefoot in the house too--all year, my DH says he always knows if I am gone as the shoes by the front or back door are gone. He teases me that you can take the girl off the farm, but can't take the farm out of the girl. grin.
