do the 9-patch
cut into four squares (DP9)
Take a plain square the same size and make how ever you like on the diagonal.
put new plain squares on top of the cut up 4 squares
Sew nest to the diagonal mark on each side of the mark 1/4 in.
Cut right down the diagonal mark of each square
You should have a total of 8 squares?
I think you can make the little square the place to start or not - it would be up to you.
I believe I would want them all the same no matter what.
It seems like it would be fancy without a lot of work.
I wonder if it would have to be squared up later?
