i don't put what is basically lightweight fishing line thru my expensive computer machine... i have seen other machines that showed a 'cut' line in the finish of the machine...if it cuts thru tempered metal finishes, i don't want it inside the machine... i do not put it in any of my machines, including the longarm...don't care how many people have been using it, it's too hard to be pulling across expensive machine parts... and besides, do you really want that hard scratchy feel to a quilt... or plastic on a table runner that you cannot now use for a hot dish?
