It's only $30-40/year for membership and the videos alone are worth that - there is a ton of instruction suited for beginners and a lot more to grow along with you. Their web site is not as easy to navigate as it should be, but the value is definitely there. Many years' worth of Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting, Eleanor Burns, Quilting from the Heartland and other series are available to you, 24/7.
The Easy Quilts subscription is available digitally so that if you find a pattern or template or instructions you want to print, you can just print from your computer. No scanning the print edition.
