It's always more difficult when a friend asks someone to do something.
I would want to see the project before agreeing to it.
What one person thinks is "just a little job" may be a major deal with a lot more involved than one expected when one agreed to to do the job.
If the rest of the quilt is worn out, it seems reasonable to me to expect that the blocks would also be worn.
