You ladies are my inspiration
I've been visiting this site for a couple of months. You are some of the most talented, gracious, funny, generous people that I have ever seen. So I had to join.
My Grandmother always had a quilt on the frame and if you wanted to visit you quilted. Don't know how well we did as kids but she always said we did well. So hand quilting is what I have done. I had never made my own top. But DGD is having surgery tomorrow, so I made her a lap quilt. Thank goodness you get to put batting and a back on. I found out that I can't cut straight, sew straight, or measure correctly. Sure glad no one will see the back of that quilt top.
