QUOTE- I didn't think it got hot enough. Also I wore it out pretty quick. I'm pretty hard on an iron. Just lost my Rowenta Steam system. I replaced it today with the Rowenta Focus. It was 99.99 at Joann's and I had a $20 coupon.
Wow. That's pretty expensive. I've had good luck with less expensive irons. Maybe I just lucked out with my Oreck but it is very hot and I love it. I'm an Oreck person. I have their large vac plus the hand held one and love them .Automatic turn off would be something to consider though. I like that if I'm ironing something large but not for sewing.
