If you travel and stay in hotels/motels, you can benefit from at least a 10% discount. I have also learned to ask for AAA/AARP/Senior discounts, some hotels offer a Sr rate that is cheaper.
I also think I get $8 worth of info about Soc. Security, Medicare and senior issues, but money for this isn't a huge issue for me, it may be for you...and if you're not a senior yet you may feel you don't need the articles, but a lot of them are now aimed at the younger membership. I think their finance articles are pretty good too. They do have a lot of ads....
