We recently moved into our retirement home and the first thing we changed was the floors. The former owners had put down wall to wall carpeting. We installed a laminate that is hard to tell from lovely "old" wood. I love, love it! It's so easy to keep clean. And if anyone has allergies, as I do, it's a whole lot better to live with than carpet. Our poor old pooch though, is having a hard time remembering not to try running on it. He goes for a loooong slide every time he does.
