I'm so excited! I'm going to go look at one tomorrow, and likely bring it home. It's being sold by a gentleman who is liquidating his grandmother's estate. It's got the case, tray and "extras". When I talked to him, he said it had a lot of extra needles, a sewing gauge, a bobbin (maybe more), a couple of screwdrivers, the lint brush, and more stuff down in the case. Oh, and "some yellow things". :lol Not a clue what they might be, but I'll find out tomorrow!

I asked him if he knew how old it was, and said if he'd done it right, he'd dated it on ISMACS to 1942. It does work, the wiring is sound (he says) but it's been sitting for 25 years or so, and could probably stand a good oiling.

Yippee!

(My husband just rolled his eyes. )
