Quilting Something with Many Colors
Hi....I have been quilting only since the summer and was wondering if you can tell me how you might quilt this. I did a few dresden plates (Christmas colors) and want to make them into table mats. I can do a meadering stitch around the outside of the blades but how would you quilt the blades as each one is a different color....there are 20 blades...would you keep changing the thread color? I think if I use, say, all red, it would really show too much on the other blades that are not red. Now that I am writing this I am not sure I am making sense...lol. I look at the dresden plates and think quilting it would ruin the look.
