A small applique seems to be the way to go. Examine the hole and see if it's a cut or a moth hole. If it's a moth hole you may find others.
It looks like a tear and thankfully not a moth hole.
The 2 baby quilts are off the frame and finished. I'll look into an applique --- thanks!
