I had stomach flu like symptoms.....went to dr on a Monday, she said, stomach flu, gave me something for nausea and told me to get Immodium (sp?) for diahera (sp?); called her on Wed and said I still had problems, she said to try BRAT diet and keep taking meds......on Thursday I had a violent episode of dry heaves (sorry for being graphic, but this is important); on Sat my daughter took me to local hospital ER.....they tested and determined a heart attack and slight stroke; sent me to large ATL hospital on Monday for heart cath....yep, heart attack and a blood clot lodged in my heart...... ALL TO SAY, WOMEN ESPECIALLY, PLEASE PAY ATTN TO YOUR SYMPTOMS AND PAINS ARE NOT ALWAYS PRESENT !
