Holice, I've certainly had those problems. But another problem I have is the way I cut the quilt sandwich prior to machine-sewing the binding to the front. At the corners I either get too little or too much sandwich and I find it very hard to be accurate along the length and still get a 90% angle.
Do you have any advice for cutting the sandwich at the corners so they aren't either too empty or too stuffed to be pointy? Do you cut the sandwich layers all equal or layer them each a different width?
