I made a topper idea to put around the edge of a shelf in my sewing room. I did some 4" square machine embroideries. I then used my 2" scrappy squares to surround them. I did 2 rows above and below the embroideries and I placed them evenly around the centre 2 rows. It looks very pretty.I used pellon instead of a thicker batting and it sits nicely. I normally have to be colour co-ordinated, but I decided In my sewing room I'm going to be much more flexible. I've also made a machine cover in pinks and greens and an overlocker cover in blues and yellows. I really like all my colourfulness. (If there is such a word)
