I saw a sewing room topper that was made from strips of fabric and wooden spools. They tied varying short lengths of torn fabric on a rod and put the ends through the hole in the spool and tied a knot. They looked neat for a sewing room. Do you have enough orphan blocks to do a simple valance for the toppers?
