It's not the prettiest tree skirt, but I did it with the fabrics that I had on hand. The next time I will definitely put some solid fabrics in it & not so many prints. Not a big fan of the ruffle either...makes me think of a square dancing skirt
I do have a question. The backing called for 1 5/8 of fabric. I cut that size, but I can't figure out how to make the backing fit the skirt. The skirt is too big when I just lay it on my backing fabric & if I would make the backing like I do when I make a quilt it doesn't seem to fit either. Can someone help me & tell me how to make the backing for it?
