Like the holly ... any evergreen trimmings. It doesn't take a lot, just a few sprigs give the seasonal effects. Just be sure not to have candles lit, for safety reasons.
Fabric, starched and cut into strips, makes lovely ribbon/bows for decorating.
What about a FQ on point in the centre of each table? .... then have it as a gift/prize for one person at each table.
