When you sew the rows together - where the seam lines meet: Do you trim the overhanging pieces from where the blocks are sewn together? It seems that the fold-over would be too thick and bulky whithout it being trimmed.
If I am understanding you right... The batting is not sewed together just the backing. The double fold, in the front, gives it a bit more substance since it will receive more wear than the block. There will be no bulk. Is that what you were referring to?
