Staples. That's where I found mine. Find the center of the backing, center it on the table top, clip it down, Center the batting next on top, clip it down. Last center the quilt top on top of batting. Make sure everything is smooth before each layer.
Clip, Clip, Clip all around the table. Next start to pin the quilt. When area is pinned unclip everything and move to next section. Pin, pin and pin some more. This method saved my back. The table can be made taller w/bedrisers.
I think I like this idea and could manage it. I could even sit on my couch with pillows if I was hurting with my Fibro and/or could be using the heating pad at the same time. Actually if I can find a shorter table that would be even better to do lap quilts. I'll go searching for one this weekend cause I have several doll quilts to do for Christmas gifts.
