Thank you all for your words of kindness. I know that we are not the only ones with this dilemma this year. We are very thankful that we still have our home and food and utilities. And you are absolutely correct that it isn't about the gifts. My family is all on the West coast and I do miss our family get togethers, but I do Skype with them frequently and talk to them at least every few days. My 2 stepsons are coming from Michigan for Christmas and we will spend our time together playing games and visiting. We really are fortunate. I DO feel better about the "no gift" policy and when we called them, they were actually kind of relieved that they didn't have to worry about gifts to buy. All in all, a tough decision, but a GOOD one. In answer to the EQ5 questions, EQ is a computer software program for designing quilts. It is pretty expensive (well over $100.00), so the $4.00 price tag at the Goodwill was pretty amazing. Again, I want to thank you all for being so supportive. All of the folks here are like a big "family", and I spend part of every day with you, and I appreciate each of you. Merry Christmas to each one of you here on "the Board" !!!
