Thank you for your kind comments. I don't do tutorials well so I can just give you a few tips. The dryer sheets are well used ones, very soft. I got mine from a senior living complex so different brands are different sizes. After you have the strips sewed on, you want to square up the block. Decide what size you want (mine were 6 1/2 x9) and square by having the corner of your ruler on the center of your black strip. Square 2 sides and then the other 2. Don't worry if you are off the dryer sheet a bit, it is more important to be square. You can do all the planning you want as far as color placement but it doesn't work. All my string quilts are very bright so I find a scrappy border works well with them. That is the fun of a string, it has it's own mind! I am thrilled there are so many saving the dryer sheets and I hope to see some completed in the new year. Beware.....any string quilt is highly addictive!
