Default New take on the jelly roll quilts.

This is a 40" x 60" quiltm top for the charity I sew for: AZblankets4kids.

I've done four of Loving Izabella's Boomerangs (you send out fat eights to those in your group, they send you a fat eighth. You make them a block using their F8 and your stash, they do the same for you) -- that was about 120 blocks I made for others, and had all sorts of little leftovers from those F8s, not enough to really do anything with. But I remember watching the jelly roll race on Youtube and dragged out the bag of scraps, cut anything that was 2-1/2" wide into a strip, pieced them into 42" wide strips and sewed them together then trimmed to 40 inches wide. I didn't do it like the jelly roll race showed -- they pieced 40 WOF strips into a 1,800" piece. Go watch the video, it's a hoot.
