I bought this cow fabric from The Hayloft (now closed
) earlier this year and wanted to make something for my dad or brother, who are both dairy farmers. The result is this Holstein placemat, Holsteins being the breed they raise and milk. Sorry all you Guernsey and Jersey lovers.
What you can't see very well is the thread painting in the grass. The effect is that the cows and all the blue puffs out. The blue is sky, but looks like a pond in some areas. It's really cool!
