Unfortunately the only Granddaughter I have is in Florida and I live in Maryland. I had three sons and wished I had someone to pass on my sewing skills to. Now I have one granddaughter and she is too far away. But if she learns to love to sew I have 5 machines that she will probably inherit. LOL
Maybe she could come and spend a summer with you. Think of it.... the two of you gabbing about family history and learning to sew... This could be your chance! Go for it!
