I asked him what he wanted, and suggested maybe it was a kiss. I promptly kissed him on top of is head and then he scampered in to dinner. So cute!!!
Measuring: Big horses are measured in hands, each which is 4", from the ground to their withers. Minis, oddly enough, are measured from the ground to their last mane hair in inches. Rosie is about 34", while Gypsy is about 31". Mazie will be about 30" and Tucker will end about 32". At birth they are 16-22".
What/where are a horse's "withers"?
Last mane hair - closer to their nose or closer to their tail? (I do know where a horse's mane is :?)
Can they be ridden?
Are they mainly pets?
