I'm not sure if it would have a different name, I think it is still the bowtie block just a different setting. Wow when you google images there are some interesting ones.

Also doing a piano key border looks nice on some of the pictures, but I see some people have just ended the quilt with the binding and no extra borders, that looks nice too.
