Hello, fellow quilters, Myself and 4 other Canadians (from Ontario) are planning our own quilt retreat at the winter home of my sister, in Naples, Florida in January - just for the 5 of us, from Jan. 10 to 19th. My sister has asked me to plan a "shop hop" between her place and Sarasota - maybe 3 (or 4) shops, and a nice place to have lunch on one of the days. I know I can't plan the activities that a real shop hop would have, but I'm trying to make it a fun day with a few "perks" and "surprises". I have contacted a few shops and told them what I'm doing, and if they have any ideas, but have not heard back as of yet (it's only been a couple of days). But I got thinking that you ladies (or gentlemen) might have some ideas of where to go, and what sort of things I could plan, or ask a quilt shop to plan. Thanks!
