From a person (me) who buys what feels good to my fingers.... I go to Joanns seldom... Can't afford a lot of their material, I go to thrift shops, friends, neighbors give me their used cotton clothing. I use what I have! One member said, as long as its quilted with love thats one of the important things. I wouldn't use fabric that was/is too thin, and give all fabrics the "pull test". I pull hard, both ways..horiz and vert. If it shreds or stretches ... i don't use it. Thats just my two cents. I haven't been disappointed in Walmart or Joanns because I am very careful what I buy.
