I haven't been around much, we had a basement flood in May and my sewing room had to be totally renovated. It was a blessing in disguise. I'd wanted to do some renovations before but I never would have started from scratch. It's now a pleasure to work in, and so easy to keep neat and tidy because there's a place for everything.

This desk is long enough to hold my machines and a small TV.

These cabinets from IKEA are 8 feet in length and hold all my fabric, books, etc. The insides of the doors are covered in a variety of Amy Butler prints.

This is the view from the bottom of the stairs as you enter the room. The cutting tables are from IKEA, there's 2 set side by side. They legs telescope so they're adjusted to the perfect height for cutting.
