I've tried changing the needle, a different bobbin in and taking the shuttle out and putting it back in again. None of this has helped. I'm afraid of how much it is going to cost to fix it, let alone how to pay for it. I'm going to try cleaning up one of my old Riccar's that I got back from my ex a few months ago. They are both really dirty and haven't been used in a really long time. They were outside in a shed before I got them back and I don't know how that is going to affect them. I was working on a mug rug for my SP and the block for Marty. I was almost done stitching down the appliques on them and then all that would be left is to sandwich and quilt them. At least I got one thing made for my SP before it broke. The mug rug was going to match the sewing machine caddy that I made. The block for Marty was also in the same style as well.
Oh, Robyn, I'm soo sorry, I know how I would feel if my machine were down. I can't even offer any suggestions. I am so not mechanically inclined. I hope it's not anything serious.
