A friend of mine asked my 3-year-old grandson who he looked like and he answered, "I have Mommy's feet, but I look like my Dad". I found that hilarious because he does not favor my daughter at all - never thought about his feet! My other grandson looks so much like my son that he used to get really confused when looking at pictures around our house. Even asked, "What baby am I holding?" when looking at a pic of his dad with my daughter.
I look like an aunt of mine A LOT and a bit like my dad - of all things I have his elbows - also his hands, feet and coloring.
My son looks a great deal like me and my daughter a great deal like my husband. We have been told this all their lives. My grandson's school principal recently commented on how much my son resembles me. Quite interesting since both my children are adopted.
