We have a blacksmith friend who restores a lot of old tools and that is what he says he uses. I'd say you want to get some oil on it after that.
Miriam, read about this substance about a month ago. Saved info to a file on computer..have NOT used it, so can not comment on it. Thought it was some thing that might be of use if used carefully and with a test spot first on some machines with stubborn rust. If anyone has used this please 'jump' in w/ comments..
