What is your favorite Christmas cookie or candy?
Do have a favorite receipe for Christmas time. I have a wonderful receipe for peanut patties, so yummy and buttery. Word of caution: give most of it away.
3 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 cup white karo
dash of salt
Bring to boil then add:
3 cups raw peanuts
Dash of red food coloring
Bring to soft ball stage and remove from heat the add:
2 sticks Parkay (must use Parkay)
1 Tsp Vanilla
Stir with wooden spoon until color is no longer glossy and pour on to cookie sheet.
When cool, break into pieces.
