i use many of the same threads with my domestic-and the long arm- if the thread works for what i am doing i use it- i often use bottom line in my bobbins- it is a fine thread and you get alot on a bobbin- so you don't have to change it so often. as long as it's not a coated hand quilting thread you can use it with your machines- the biggest difference in (needs) is---long arms go really really fast- some threads you may use successfully with your domestic will not work with the long arm because they will break often- due to the speed of the long-arm-
