I would use different colors of thread in each area depending on whether I wanted the design to blend in or stand out. I would zip over to daystyledesigns web sight and do one of her freemotion quilting designs in each area, so each area is different design. It would be good practice and alittle on the wild side and even if it is not perfection, you just hang it alittle higher on the wall, no one will notice
