Your desk is wonderful. Was the plexiglass surround purchased through a sewing supply company or did you get it custom cut locally? I would love a similar set up for my new to me Husqvarana #1+. We have a local Mennonite family who make custom furniture and now you've got me thinking and planning.
The surround is lexan that we purchased from a local company that sells glass. We just bought a square of it and my hubby cut it to shape on the bandsaw. It turned out great!
