You made me hungry just mentioning them! This is my recipe for ham loaf, and can be shaped into meatballs, if you wish:

HAM BALLS
2 lbs. lean pork
1 lb ham
2 eggs
1 cup saltine cracker crumbs
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
Have butcher grind the meats together. They will do this if you give them advance notice. Their grinder needs to be cleaned after doing this mix, so they prefer to do it at the end of the day, when they will be cleaning the thing anyway.
Or you can grind them yourself if you have a grinder.

Shape into balls about the size of walnut. Bake at 325 degrees. 2 hours for a loaf--less for meatballs. Check after 1 hour.
