Default Ham balls

3 lbs hamloaf = 1 1/2 lbs ground pork
1 1/2 lbs ground ham
2 eggs beaten
1 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
1 cup milk
di ced onion or onion powder(optional)
salt & pepper to taste

sauce:
1 can tomato soup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tsp dry mustard
Mix meat mixture altogether & form into balls (should be able to get 22 - 24 balls)
Mix sauce together & pour over the top.
Bake covered 45 min or so then uncover & bake 15 - 25 min more - 350 degree oven

These freeze well, you can make half the recipe (12 balls) or you can double & it makes about 44 - 48.
In Iowa we have Fareway stores that you can purchase hamloaf already ground & mixed together for about 2.99 a lb. It freezes well also. Some prefer to mix some hamburger in also but we prefer just ham & pork. Enjoy
