Barb in Wis. Cold, but the snow storm missed us all together.
Here is my plan.
1.) Quilt in the ditch around the 9x9 blocks. That should stabilize the whole thing.
2.) Quilt on a diagonal on 3 inch centers in a large diamond pattern the whole quilt, skipping the 6x6 blocks that are part of some blocks.
3.) Quilt around those 6x6 blocks.
4.) Use those 6x6 blocks as mini pallets for freehand machine quilting of Celtic knot patterns.
5.) Quilt running celtic knots on the borders.
