I use a marking pencil that looks just like a #2 pencil and it does wash out but sometimes it takes a couple washings. Hopefully that's what is on your quilt. Have you let the person who quilted your quilts know it wasn't the design you wanted and they didn't do what you'd asked? I would!!! You put so much time and work into your projects and they had no right to do what they did and didn't do. If for whatever reason they thought a different pattern would look better you should have been contacted BEFORE anything was done. I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience and hope you can salvage your precious quilts.
