We have no quilt shops locally so I used to buy a lot online. I'm shopping in my stash now since I have retired and DH got an 18% pay cut last year. That said, my son and daughter-in-law live not far from Lolly's in Shipshewana, Indiana. Whenever I visit them it always includes a trip to Lolly's. Even if i don't have much money to spend, I will buy a yard or 2 of something or maybe a few fat quarters. It's a 4 hour drive there so it's not some place I can go often, which is probably a good thing. But Lolly's is a great shop. Actually it's 2 stores, the regular whop with all the great, new stuff, a bargain basement where everything is about $6.00/yd. and the quilt store where she sells ready made quilts. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, even the young man who works there. If I sound like a commercial for the shop, sorry.
