I just moved back to southern CA and needless to say there are several LQS. So I have been checking them out. I have found that the ones that have peeked my interest so far are the ones that have their stores set up in an attractive way that makes the material look like candy in a candy shop. I want to buy everything. Of course being realistic and on a fixed income, I can't do that. I am also looking for helpful, friendly people as I am sort of new at all of this. I would like to start taking classes but I can't afford to do that right now. So I am going to go to the free work day where you bring your own project and work on it there in the store. That will give me a good asset as to how helpful and friendly everyone is. I have also bought on line and have had good success in that area. One thing about going to the local QS is that you get the material immediately and don't have to wait like when you order on line. But then it is exciting to get packages in the mail. LOL.
