Please share with us your method of quilting feather wreaths. I don't see a spine quilted at all. Looks like you quilted just the plumes with no spine as a guide. I am assuming you had to mark some sort of circles in order to do those double wreaths.
Yes, I will be glad to share with you how I quilt the feather wreaths. There is a spine there among the plumes. I start with a large circle template, quilt around it then branch out to quilt the plumes around the outside edge of the circle, then branch out to quilt the inside edge with plumes. I then choose a smaller size circle template, center it within the larger feathered wreath and do the same with it - I don't mark on the quilt at all as I'm always afraid the markings might not come out of the fabric.
