Oh, bless us 'hateful' people! And don't forget that we are self-centered and selfish. No, I don't alter suit jackets to make them 2-3 sizes bigger, pants to make them 3" bigger or longer, nor do I turn bridesmaids dresses into something that can be worn to work. I don't make silk purses out of sow's ears either.

What I usually tell people is "I'm so sorry, I don't work with that type of fabric." Or, now that our retreats are booked for the entire year of 2012, I can just say that my sewing time is booked through the year 2012, all my projects have been scheduled.
