I shop online usually. I do purchase from Joanne or Hancocks when traveling. I have what they call a general/country store here in town. It's also a drug store. They have a small fabric dept. I have looked at the fabric a few times. I notice their prices are about 3.99 to around 9.99. I said to my DH yesterday, if I am going to have to pay that much at Joanne's, why not buy here
