I may live in a big city...but, there are no quilt shops nearby that thrill me. I have to drive 30 minutes to get to one that has a good selection. I shop at Joann's sometimes...Hancock's is also 30 minutes.
I have good days and bad with the fibromyalgia...so, I find it easier to cruise thru the fabric lines online than to get in the car and drive, then shop, then have to drive home.
