Beautiful quilts. The newspaper one is such a fabulous idea. My husband writes for the newspaper, too, and I hay have to preserve some of his articles that way, too. What would you do if an article covered a whole page of the paper. It could be the center of the quilt, but how would you get it scanned and onto cloth? I am open for ideas. This might be for his June birthday if I can figure out how to do it. Thanks
I would suggest taking the whole page article to a copy max, staples,kinko place and have them either shrink it so you can print on fabric OR they can copy into proper sections which you can them print and piece together to keep size of whole page article and as you said use as center block, which ever way you choose then his work is still intact.
