This is the first he's eaten all week without throwing up or just refusing to eat. He played with a couple frogs they gave him - he figured out if he threw it against the bed it would bounce kind of cool. Of course I held Walter quite a bit. When I left Wilbur was eating more supper. I hope she manages ok over night. I'll get up and go back in the morning to take them home. He knows he feels some what better but he sure hates the IV and the medication.
Miriam, when my kids had their tonsils and adnoids out at 18 months and 2 1/2 - both at the same time - it was harder on me and their Dad then on them! They were like Wilbur, eating popsicles, ice cream, soup! I was the one who was stressed out, they bounced back like nothing happened and for the first time since they were both born, they both were well. Up until they had those things removed they went from one bought of tonsilites to a bad cold - always sick. My Dr. assured me that they'd get well once those things were removed and they did! So happy to hear Wilbur is going to bounce right back too!
